Five weeks out, Rockstar finally gave us the trailer everyone has been refreshing YouTube for. The Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer landed on October 15, and the biggest surprise wasn't a new character or a map reveal. It was the music.

## Justice is scoring Vice City

French electronic duo Justice is composing GTA VI's original dynamic score, the music that shifts as you drive, chase, and get chased. They also made the trailer's theme, "Flower in a Hurricane," with a guest list that reads like a festival lineup: Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Rockstar also confirmed *Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album*, a 34-track companion release. That's a big signal. GTA radio has always been half the identity of the series, and this time Rockstar is treating the soundtrack like a headline act instead of a background feature.

## The date is holding

GTA VI is still set for **Thursday, November 19, 2026**, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. After two delays, the launch trailer is about as close to a "we're shipping" stamp as Rockstar gives.

PC players are still waiting. Rockstar hasn't announced a PC date. GamesBeat reports, citing unnamed sources, that a PC version is aimed at the first quarter of 2027\. Treat that as a rumor until Rockstar says it.

## The 2nd Shift take

Most launch trailers exist to remind you a game is coming. This one is selling a vibe, and putting Justice on the score tells you what Rockstar thinks that vibe is: neon, loud, and built for late-night drives. If you're on console, block out the weekend of the 19th now. If you're on PC, this is the part where you practice patience.
