What to Play This October: 5 Releases Worth Your Night Shift
Party games, survival, an MMO throwback, a Final Fantasy spin, and a stylish action game. Our picks for the rest of October.
October is stacked, and that's before GTA VI eats November. Here's what we're keeping an eye on for the rest of the month.
Jackbox Party Pack 12 (Oct 15)
The easiest way to get the whole Discord laughing on a Friday. One person owns it, everyone else plays from their phone. Perfect for stream nights.
Enshrouded 1.0 (Oct 15)
The co-op survival game leaves early access. If you bounced off it earlier, the full release is the time to round up a group and build something together.
MapleStory Classic (Oct 21)
A trip back to the old-school MMO grind. Pure nostalgia for some of us, and a look at where a lot of online gaming habits came from for everyone else.
Final Fantasy Resonance (Oct 22)
A new Final Fantasy release to close out the month. Worth checking if you want something to sink time into before November hits.
Phantom Blade Zero (Oct 28)
Fast, stylish action that has been turning heads in every trailer. This is our pick if you want something that just feels good to play.
Also on our radar
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 lands Oct 23. Here's everything to know.
